One of Vogue's all-time most iconic covers in January 1990, CINDY CRAWFORD starred on along with Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington. But her previous covers for the magazine didn't trait one of her most famous trademarks - her mole.

"The first time they put me on the cover, they airbrushed off my mole," Cindy said in New York Fashion Week newspaper, The Daily. "Whenever they mess with the mole, I cringe!" she added.

In January this year, Kaia Gerber, 10 years old daughter of Crawford is set to follow her mother's modeling footsteps - having landed Versace's inaugural children swear campaign.

"At this point, she's too young to pursue a career; also there aren't even a handful of jobs for a 10-year-old girl. But if she's 17 and wants to try it, of course, what can I say? She kind of jokingly said - I'm not even sure if it was jokingly - 'I might model first because you don't have to know how to do anything, but then I want to be a baby nurse.'" Crawford added.

Versace's New Baby Supermodel

The 10-year-old Kaia Gerber has been picked to front Versace's inaugural childrenswear campaign, who is a daughter of CINDY CRAWFORD.  She follows the career of her supermodel mother, who was the late Gianni Versace’s muse.

Kaia is having a special gift like her mother" said Donatella Versace. "The camera really loves her. While Cindy on set for the shoot, it takes me back to the Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother's footsteps!" she added.

Gerber can be seen in the label's spring/summer 2012 campaign, Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

"I'm so excited that Kaia was chosen to be one of the first Young Versace Campaign," said Cindy Crawford. "I have so many loving memories when I spent time with Gianni and Donatella. There is something special about the House of Versace. It was a fantastic experience while being on set with my daughter and watching her in front of the camera. I am so proud of her" added Cindy.
